6. Saturday: The Choir will be singing at the County Buildings, Wigtown from 11 am.

9. Thursday 14th December: Christmas Memorial Service, 7 pm, St. John’s Church, North Strand St. Stranraer. For families who have suffered the loss of a child.

10. Saturday 16th December: The Choir will be singing at the Kirkcowan Village Hall 2:30 pm.

11. Thursday 21st December: Wigtown School Christmas Assembly, 9:30 am, Wigtown Parish Church.

14. Prayer Points:
Pray for those who are struggling in body, mind, heart or soul. Pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:7).
Pray as we approach Christmas that the message of the birth of the Saviour would be heard in the midst of all the trappings surrounding Christmas.
Pray for the Machars Basics Bank. This week’s needs are: Long Life Milk, Sugar, Coffee, Jams/Preserves, Packet Rice, Tinned Ready Meals, Corned Beef and Tinned Potatoes. Remember the Basics Bank Reverse Advent Calendar. See poster for details. Thanks so much for your continuing support.
