1. Welcome to our Messy Life Service, this Morning. As we worship together may we know God’s presence. The notices for this week will scroll at the beginning and end of the Service and are displayed on the Notice Board. After this Service you are welcome to stay behind for refreshments. 4. Tuesday: Choir Rehearsal, 7:30 pm, Kirkcowan Parish Church.

5. Thursday: Prayer and Bible Study, 7:30 pm, the Manse.

6. Friday: There will be no First Day Service at Penninghame December or January returns February.

7. Saturday: Penninghame St. John’s Christmas Fayre, 10 am – 2 pm, Church Hall. Admission £3. Proceeds to Bethany Trust. Poster at the door.

11. Sunday 10th December: Cantata at the Morning Services of both Wigtown and Kirkcowan Parish Churches. The Choir will also be singing at the County Buildings Wigtown on Saturday 9th from 11 am and Kirkcowan Village Hall 2;30 pm, Saturday 16th.

12. Saturday 10th February: Vocations Information day. Want to serve God in the Church of Scotland? It’s your call? Conforti Institute Coatbridge. Booking essential. To register contact the Ministries Council. Poster at the door.

13. Blythswood Care Shoebox Appeal Update:
A total of: 46 Christmas Shoeboxes, 4 Bags of additional gifts and a donation of £20 was collected and delivered to Blythswood Care on the 14th November. Thank you so much.
CD in aid of Blythswood Care is now available at the main door.

14. Prayer Points:
Pray for those who are struggling in body, mind, heart or soul. Pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:7).
Pray as we approach Christmas that the message of the birth of the Saviour would be heard in the midst of all the trappings surrounding Christmas.
Pray for the Machars Basics Bank. This week’s needs are: Long Life Milk, Tinned Potatoes, Corned Beef, Tinned Ready Meals, Packet Rice, Tinned Fruit, Coffee and Biscuits. Remember the Basics Bank Reverse Advent Calendar. Start putting your items in your box by 20th November. See poster for details. Thanks so much for your continuing support.
